Sintra is a city in which we find a significant number of important urban centres, all with their own style, attractions, and things to see and do while on holiday in Sintra.
Sintra has an impressive range of cultural and historic monuments like the Castle of Sintra, or the Dos Mouros Castle and Pena Palace, Palacio da Pena, or as it is also known, the Sintra Palace. These are the most important monuments, but also by visiting Belas, Cacém, Queluz, Sao Martinho you will find several more cultural activities to do and places and monuments to visit.
As for leisure, know that renting a boat in the nearby towns of Cascais or Ericeira is a brilliant idea to enjoy the sun and sea, to take in the spectacular Portuguese coast, poassibly seeing whales, snorkelling or sunbathing on deck.
In Sintra you can also enjoy a day of shopping in stores you will find in nearby towns like San Pedro, Cacém, Sao Martinho and Queluz.
